My Absolute Favorite Baby/Toddler Product

Recently I've been asked about my favorite baby products.  Honestly, I could go on and on about how I absolutely love my Nuna Mixx stroller or our new Uppababy G-Link 2 double umbrella stroller.  I could even tell you that the Stokke Tripp Trapp is worth the splurge or the 4Moms Mamaroo is the absolute best swing.  But really it comes down to testing out these products at the store and seeing what you like.  I definitely have my opinions and one of the things that I do offer is baby registry advice and if that is something you would like, feel free to send me a DM on Instagram or an email with a link to your registr(ies).  Maybe in the future I will do a complete list of all my favorites, but for now, there is only one product that I absolutely 100% recommend, and that is the Maxi Cosi car seats.

This post is in no way sponsored, but when I tell you I love a product, I genuinely love it.  I mean how can we not when we bought 5 of them!

Before my oldest was born we decided that we would use a convertible car seat from birth in my husband's car and the infant car seat in my car.  It worked great.  We got the Nuna Pipa infant car seat with base for my car and in his car we got the Maxi Cosi Pria 70 (which can be used from birth to 70 lbs).  Once she outgrew the infant car seat, we got the Pria 85 Max for my car.

Eventually my mom wanted one for her car so we picked up another Pria 70.  The price for all the Pria car seats is reasonable and they are the absolute easiest car seat to clean in the history of all car seats!

When my second was born, we used the infant car seat in my car again.  We had ordered another Pria 70 for my husband's car so that he would also have 2 car seats.  Then at around 9 months we could tell my youngest was uncomfortable in the infant car seat in my car so we moved the Maxi Cosi from his car into my car.  My mom had also gotten another Maxi Cosi for her car, this time it was the Pria 85.

Pria 85 Max has a different fastening mechanism (it's magnetic) and can be used from birth to 85 lbs.  I actually prefer the magnetic fastener to the other models.  It is still not something that a toddler can undo but it is easy for parent’s to do one handed and my toddler can actually buckle the top part herself.

When it comes to cleaning, to be honest, I tried to avoid that as long as possible.  I was so worried about making sure I was able to take it off and put it back on that I took a video of myself doing it.  I should totally film it again and share it on IGTV because I’m sure any new mom is probably searching YouTube right now for the same how to video.  I actually never found a video on how to put the cover back on, only how to remove it.  When I filmed it for myself I sort of played it backwards.  It worked and now I just can’t believe how easy it really is to do.

I hope this helps those of you looking for the perfect convertible car seat to add to your baby registry or have a little one that is now outgrowing the infant seat and are in the market for a new one.
