Ulta's 21 Days of Beauty

If you don't already know what Ulta's 21 Days of Beauty Event is than you are definitely missing out.  Basically Ulta picks a few items each day to mark down 1/2 off.  Yes you heard me, HALF OFF!  This year the event is September 1-21.  Today is the 10th day.  I'm a little late to the game for sharing my picks on my blog, but I have been sharing some of my favorites/purchases on my Instagram stories.

Sephora and Nordstrom have also been price matching each day as well in case you want to accrue Nordy Notes or Sephora points instead.

These are my picks.  I'm not going to include everything on sale each day, only what I either own, want, or bought.

Keep in mind, the prices I have below are only valid on their specific date.

Day 10: Needles No More No More Baggage ($11-21) Regularly $22-42  I've heard amazing things about this product.  It supposedly really reduces puffiness under the eyes.  I haven't tried it because I am super cautious about what I use while breastfeeding.  I have seen people use it while breastfeeding/pregnant but everyone can decide that for themselves.

Day 11: Skip

Day 12: Tarte Lights, Camera, Lashes 4-in-1 Mascara  ($11.50) Regularly $23 Great mascara for layering.  Not my all-time favorite but I do like it and you can't beat the price.

Day 13: Tarte Amazonian Clay Blush and Highlighters ($14.50) Regularly $29  I love all of Tarte's blush, bronzers, and highlighters.  I don't have this one but I've heard great things.  Most of mine are in palettes.

Day 14: Skip or do the free Benefit Brow Wax with any $50 Benefit purchase.  A brow wax is normally around $22 and they do a really good job from what I've seen.

Day 15: Tarte Tartelette 2 in Bloom Clay Eyeshadow Palette ($19.50) Regularly $39  I have this and love it.  I use this during the Spring/Summer and switch to the Toasted one for the Fall.  I do sometimes switch back and this palette has gorgeous colors.

Peter Thomas Roth Water Drench Hyaluronic Cloud Serum ($32.50) Regularly $65  I've heard good things about Peter Thomas Roth products and as you know I am currently obsessed with skincare.  I haven't tried this but I am interested.

Day 16: PMD Online Only Personal Microderm Pro ($99.50) Regularly $199  This is a product that as of right now I am going to get.  I'm between this and one other product but for the price I'm leaning towards this.  Microdermabrasion is great for your skin and with my postpartum hormones, I need all the help I can get.

Day 17: CoverFX Perfect Setting Powder ($17.50) Regularly $35  I've heard great things about this setting powder.  One thing that I absolutely love about CoverFX is that it is TALC-FREE.  I try to avoid Talc in loose powers at all costs.  Loose powder isn't really my thing.  I have a loose powder brush from another brand but it is an all-in-one so the powder is contained and doesn't get everywhere.

Day 18: TULA Revitalizing Eye Cream ($26) Regularly $52  Everyone raves about Tula products.  I haven't tried this one but I ended up returning the others I ordered.  I have super sensitive skin and my face couldn't handle them.  I am sharing this one because I seem like a small few that it just didn't work for whereas 90% of people love all of Tula.

Elemis Peptide 4 Eye Recovery Cream ($24.50) Regularly $49  Elemis is a brand that I've always wanted to try.  The price point is what has stopped me.  I need to take a look at the ingredients to see if they are breastfeeding safe.  I err on the side of caution always.

Day 19: Origins Fresh-Faced Faves Set ($14.75) Regularly $29.50 - $67 Value  This looks like a great starter kit.  It includes Checks and Balances Frothy Face Wash, High-Potency Night-A-Mins Resurfacing Cream, Super Spot Remover, and Ginzing Refreshing Eye Cream

Day 20: It Cosmetics Bye Bye Under Eye Full Coverage Anti-Aging Waterproof Concealer ($13) Regularly $26  I've heard great things about all of It Cosmetics Concealers.  I can't use this because it has Retinyl Palmitate but if you are looking for full coverage with anti-aging benefits definitely check this out.

BeautyBlender Blendercleanser Solid ($8) Regularly $16  If you have a BeautyBlender or even the generic beauty blender from Amazon, these are great to clean them.

Day 21: Urban Decay 24/7 Glide-On Eye Pencil ($11) Regularly $22  Now is the time to stock up on eyeliner.  These are so great for your waterline.

DIAMOND/PLATINUM EXCLUSIVE (I guess this deal isn't for everyone--emailed coupon)  Tarte Double Duty Beauty Shape Tape Contour Concealer ($13.50) Regularly $27  Everyone says this is the holy grail of all concealers.  I have it and I do love it, but I actually prefer my Ilia True Skin Concealer.  That being said, I only want to cover the puffiness/fine lines.  If I use a foundation or concealer that is too full-coverage than I end up covering my freckles and look silly.

I hope you all find my picks helpful.  I'm really not purchasing much this year.  Just a few things that I use regularly or really want to try.  Remember to save your receipts in case you don't like something you purchase.
