Black Friday this year is a little different. Some stores have had ongoing sales throughout the month of November while some are having big sales earlier so that they can be sure everyone gets their orders before the holidays. Seeing as how shipping may be delayed this year, I have noticed that a lot of people are getting their holiday shopping done early.

I have always liked to shop local and shop small. There are so many wonderful small businesses out there whether they are local and/or on Etsy. Since the pandemic, a number of people lost their jobs and either started their own business and/or are relying on their business to make ends meet. I decided as a way to help get the word out about all the amazing businesses in New Jersey that I would put together a blog post and continue to edit it as more and more people share with me what they make or their services offered.
