+ HOW DID YOU GET STARTED?
I started blogging on and off back in 2013. Back then I blogged about teaching. I stopped for a few years and picked back up after having kids. Friends would ask me to review their baby registries and it sort of grew from there. Things picked up while working for a company in brand relations and after leaving I decided to expand my business.
+ HOW DID YOU FORM YOUR PANDEMIC POD?
We have always had a small group of friends with kids that were close in age. It worked out for both my kids. My oldest had been in preschool before everything and as a safer option we found a private teacher for the pod.
+ HOW DID YOU AND YOUR HUSBAND MEET?
We are high school sweethearts and have been together since 2003. We did long distance in high school for 4 years and then after 1 semester at a different college I transferred to the same school as him.
+ WHERE DO YOU FIND THE DEALS?
A lot of the deals I find just by browsing online looking at gifts or items I am trying to find a good price on for my family. I also use the website, Brickseek. You can check the dpci number of items from different stores and see if they are reduced or on clearance.
+ WHAT GRADES DID YOU TEACH?
Kindergarten - 7th grade computer (technology education) and Kindergarten.
+ WHY DID YOU LEAVE TEACHING?
I ended up taking a digital education corporate position and worked there for a year. When my oldest was born I was left because the commute was an hour plus with traffic.
