UV-C Sanitizer Master List

Currently thinking to myself ("this is some great content for you -- everyone is interested in UV-C Sanitizers right?")  I'm sure many of you are out there thinking about how it is super hard to find hand sanitizer, cleaning products, toilet paper...etc...

So here's what I've learned.  UV-C does effectively "inactivate[s] SARS-CoV in 40 minutes." (link here to research).  The time will differ based on the UV-C device and the space.  My guess that 40 minutes is probably for a room, but don't quote me on that because I don't know for sure.

For awhile I had been using Lysol or screen cleaner wipes, but I learned that while they are better than nothing, they don't get into all the little nooks and crannies of a phone or remote.

I decided to create a list of all the UV-C devices I could find and share them with you in case you are interested.  I know that we are all practicing social distancing, but some people don't have the option to work from home.  This is all personal opinion, but I feel like a cell phone sanitizer would be perfect for someone to use before they head home for the day.  Even better if it is "portable" like the PhoneSoap Go.

Homedics - Cell phone sanitizer and sanitizing bag.  (Referral Link here will get you 20% off)  Below is what it looks like.  Once you set it up, all you need to do is charge it, place the items inside, zip it up and press the button on the side.  It's super easy.  We've already sanitized our cell phones and my husband's wallet.

PhoneSoap:  Phone Soap 3, PhoneSoap Pro, PhoneSoap Go, PhoneSoap Wireless, HomeSoap (Use code DIAPERSANDDONUTS at checkout for 10% off.

GermGuardian UV Air Sanitizer - Desktop and pluggable options.

SoeLand - Available on Amazon

Munchkin Portable UV Sterilizer - Available on Amazon

Purlite UV-C Sanitizer Box - Available on Amazon and is fairly large.

BrightINWD - Currently unavailable but one of the top rated UV-C sanitizing wands if you are looking for that option.

SteriShoe + - This is a shoe sanitizer.  We actually have it.  It has been useful if you buy consignment designer shoes or just want to clean your shoes.  I feel like it would be good for a medical professional working in the front lines.  One thing I will note is that only one of our shoe inserts works now, but that is probably because the light needs to be replaced.
